Neals Yard: Frankincense Hydrating Creme

Neals Yard: Frankincense Hydrating Creme

If you have generally dry and sensitive skin this little moisturizer might soon become the star of your beauty regime. At the time I purchased this moisturizer I was suffering from dry itchy skin caused from a temperature change between sunny Mexico to the cold Nevada City mountains. I purchased it for the purpose of resolving this issue but it has worked its way into my heart and daily beauty bag.

Although slightly expensive for my tastes at 27.50 for 50g tub you don’t need much and it does feel as though it is moisturizing all day. The consistency goes on smoothly with deep hydration minus that heavy clogging feeling that you get from many other intensive moisturizers. Instead this moisturizer leaves your skin looking and feeling plump and fresh.

My personal choice is to use this moisturizer after I face-steam with Soapnuts Chamomile and Lavender essential oils. The combination of the three scents smells divine and has that lasting dewy effect which everyone thinks is only achievable through make-up. As we always say, less is more when it comes to your beauty regime; there is no need for layers of makeup if you look after your skin properly.

So, why does this product leave your skin feeling plump and fresh? If you look at the ingredients at the bottom of this page you’ll see:

Frankincense: which is known to improve skin tone whilst smoothing out those laughter lines. Great for red blotches or uneven skin tones.

Jojoba: resembles sebum, a waxy substance produced by our skim glands and so is a natural conditioner.

As with all products that I use this is vegan, and Neal Yard are one of my favourite businesses for honest labelling. This product is 97% organic. When I asked what ingredient wasn't organic the response was "well, could we honestly say with our hands on our heart that the water is 100% organic?" You’ll can see more about what’s in their products here: Beauty With No Nasties.

I’ll definitely continue to buy this product. Neals Yard, simple, pure products made with an honest heart.
